Komand! privacy
Privacy policy
Komand! is a local-first macOS automation app. Most app data stays on your Mac. Network communication is used for license activation, validation, update checks, and requests you submit through this site.
Local app data
Komand! stores shortcut configuration locally, by default at ~/.config/komand/config.json, unless you choose another local path. The app also stores preferences in macOS user defaults and license activation state in the macOS Keychain.
Komand! does not intentionally transmit shortcut configuration, shell commands, keyboard sequence history, or local file paths to ihatemymouse.com.
License activation
License activation, validation, and deactivation are handled through Lemon Squeezy. These requests can include a license key, license instance identifier, device name, and purchase or customer metadata returned by Lemon Squeezy.
Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, and related purchase records for transactions processed through its platform.
When checkout starts on this site, ihatemymouse.com creates a checkout session identifier and passes it to Lemon Squeezy as custom checkout data. Lemon Squeezy webhook events can return order, refund, customer, and license metadata so purchases can be reconciled with support requests. Webhook payloads stored by this site are sanitized so full license keys and signed URL secrets are redacted.
Security
No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Avoid putting secrets in shortcut names, shell commands, screenshots, shared configuration files, or support requests unless specifically requested and reviewed first.
Komand! support assumes macOS 14.6 or later and a macOS version that still receives Apple security updates. Keep macOS updated because operating-system vulnerabilities on unsupported, unpatched, beta, or modified systems are outside ihatemymouse.com's control.
Support and privacy requests
When you submit a request, ihatemymouse.com processes the contact details and request information you provide so the issue can be investigated and answered. Support request data is retained only as long as needed for support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and abuse prevention.
